This year, Shorts on the Green will be offering filmmakers a generous prize pool to award their labours of love. Keep an eye on this space as more prizes are announced in the run to the festival!

- $1000 worth of equipment hire or studio time at Able Video Gold Coast

- Double Passes to Gold Class Cinemas donated by Birch Carrol and Coyle
- Instore Vouchers at the Billabong Store donated by City Beach
he filmmaker who takes our top honours will also have a trailer for their winning film screened before every film session at the Gold Coast Arts Centre for the month after the festival. This will be a great way have your film seen by the masses and for it to get a bit of recognition!
Live judging will take place on the night, with awards given out to the following categories:
- Best Film
- Runner Up Film
- Best Director
- Editing
- Cinematoraphy
- Best Actress
- Best Actor
- Audience Choice
The Audience Choice Award will be decided on the night by the public attending the fesitval. Votes will be cast via SMS, with the winner being revealed at the end of the night.
